How To Heal C Section Mediated Stretch And Tightness Around Incision Especially On Right Side?
I had a c section four months back. But I continue to feel stretch and tightness around my incision especially on the right side when I get up from a seated position. My gynaecologist says it could be adhesions and i need to learn to live with it. Will things get better with time or will this discomfort never go. Its my first issue and I feel totally shattered and dont ever wish to plan another baby. Is there any treatment apart from a surgical procedure. Plzz healp. I feel depressed
Hello and welcome to HCM, A surgical procedure like caesarean section can cause symptoms of pain, discomfort and tightness. These symptoms may take some time to decrease or disappear. These symptoms can be managed by physiotherapy and tone building exercises. Improvement of tone of abdominal muscles can reduce the tightness and discomfort that you are experiencing. You may have to go for caesarean section in subsequent pregnancy.
