hi man,Increasing your intake of junk foods and greasy foods is not a good way to gain weight. Junk foods usually contain unhealthy trans fats or saturated fats. Even though you need to increase your calorie consumption to gain weight, those calories should come from foods that are good for you.Healthy fats include omega-3 essential fatty acids sources like tuna, salmon, flax, and walnuts. Good sources of protein include lean meats, fish, poultry, nuts, seeds and legumes. Healthy carbohydrate sources include fruits, vegetables and whole grains. It may be easier to eat five or six smaller balanced meals per day rather than eating three large meals, especially if you are not used to eating much at one sitting.
Protein powders and nutritional supplement drinks such as Ensure can be added as in-between meal snacks if you still need more calories. Some protein powders are flavored and only need added water and some others can be blended with your choice of juice or milk to improve the taste. It would also be a heal
ya i am able to understand your problem , so basically i want to know what is your current weight & how much you want to gain weight? never eat junk foods that leads to cardiovascular problems.so easy thing is try to eat mutton provided your are non vegetarian weekly twice 150 gms...that will make with egg yolk...keep in follow....
see for a healthy gain of weight u need to exercise or go for a daily morning walk/ swimming ....that will not only increase your appetite ,but also burn the fat & make way to gain muscle mass thru proteins ..... u shud have diet rich in proteins & carbohydrates incl milk products fruits grams vegetables wheat corn s white meat ..... the motto shud be to gain health not weight alone as bad fat /weight will be a forerunner of ddiseases like diabetes / metabolic syndromes
Sir, weight reduction is a simple mechanism can we maintain through our food only. 1. more fiber food will regulate our body weight, 2. In our every day diet u must take rice or wheat and vegetable and the green leaf ratio must be 1:2. 3. Drink more water. Approximately 5 lit per day. 4. Do physical work like cleaning the garden for at least half an hour per day 5. Reduce the stress. B"because this is a main factor for overweight. 6. Avoid oily food and junk food 7. Sleep well. Thank you.
How to gain weight
Weight gain is something that isn't easy to do and you probably know this already. I know first hand because it is something I have to do every day. I am an ectomorph by genetics, which is the "skinny body type" and the one with the fast metabolism which makes gaining so hard for guys like me. The key to weight gain is to do everything BIG. You have to eat big, to lift big, to get big. Say that over and over again in your head until you fully understand it. A lot of people think weightlifting is the key to gaining weight, and I won't argue, it is an extremely important part. BUT, there is another thing that is just as important when it comes to how to gain weight, and that is your diet.
So, to put it as simply as possible, there are 5 simple steps to how to gain weight, and here they are:
1) Count how many calories you eat in a normal day. Don't change anything, just eat like you normally would and count how many calories you consumed. This is an extremely important step, so try to
Exercise increases the appetite and though it may seem surprising, you there is a strong possibility that you would actually gain weight. This is because you have little fat to lose, and this would only get converted into muscle, while your intake of food will increase. So if you have been eating two chapatis, your stomach would demand a third.

hi,count how many calories you eat in a normal day. Don't change anything, just eat like you normally would and count how many calories you consumed. This is an extremely important step, so try to be as exact as possible. Also, weigh yourself.
Starting the day after you counted calories, eat 500 calories MORE then you normally do. So, lets pretend that the day you counted calories you counted 2000. For the rest of the week, you would now eat 2500 calories a day. Instead of eating 3 big meals a day or eating all day all the time, spread those calories out over 5-6 smaller meals. Eat one meal every 2 and a half to 3 hours. To get big, you have to eat big! Remember that.

I m a huge pro-wrestling fan & always wanted to try my hands (and body) on pro-wrestling & MMA, but I can t with this weight. My father, uncle, brother, grand father & even the great grand father are just like me in weight, and it s hard to say if I could gain more weight, so I wanted to ask you out.Lot of friends suggested me to use steroids, but as a wrestling fan, I know how much damage these drugs can do to your body (RIP Chris Benoit)., so I always just rejected to take drugs. Can I gain some good weight & look better than what I do?Thanks for your time :)

Hi, I m 28, female in Australia... I used to weigh 149kg s, I now weigh 89kg after having a gastric sleeve in dec 2011. My question is... What could be causing a irregular heart beat feeling and a flutter in my chest after I have eaten? I hadn t done any heavy exercise before eating so it s all at a slow regular pace. I used to get it before my weight loss surgery, but I m still having them. When it happens I check my pulse also it has a normal heart beat but then it feels like there is a slight pause and a hard thump right after. It happens quite a few times in the space of approximately 30seconds, then when I count my heart beat I count 50 beats in 30 seconds then after a minute I m fine again. This is really scary for me as i have heart problems in my family from my grandma (mothers side). What could be causing this?
Good evening. I have been on a low carb, high protein diet over the past 3 weeks and am enjoying this change of lifestyle. i only eat clean foods, plenty of fruit and veges, lean chicken and fish. Typical of everything the professionals tell you. I have been losing weight also which of course is a bonus. I started taking metamusil over the past 3 days in my morning juice plus drink 1 ltr of fresh water plus a couple of coffees daily. My problem now is, i have not used my bowels for the past 3 days and my flatulance has increased and really smells offensive. What do you suggest? Please help.
The last 3 days I ve passed stools that appear to have white clumps of a stringy like substance intertwined in it. I have changed my diet and eat more protein than usual. I also started working out. The diet change was about a month ago as well as the working out. Any idea what it could be? Is it just something associated with the high protein diet and a reduction in carb intake?
