What Causes Weight Gain Despite Working Out Regularly?

despite working out regularly and no cha ange in my eating habits, I have been experiencing a fairly rapid weight/size gain in the last 2 months. I am menopausal and have been experiencing some extra stress. I am wondering if this is normal based on my circumstances - or wondering if i could have developed a recent lactose intolerance/whey intolerance. Thanks

it is good that you are working out at this age to keep yourself active.
losing weight needs a holistic approach i.e. you need to look at it from different aspects. i am enumerating a few below.

a balanced diet which helps you in your daily work as well as your exercise regimen will add to the results of weight loss. raw fruits and lean meat are very helpful , though you can take into consideration different type of diets after consulting your physician.

you should also check how much you get to rest daily, as the exercise put a stress on the body, and adequate sleep and rest will help in bulding and healing the body. putting the body under stress without giving it time to cope up can be harmful

you should check for any stress related diseases or condition which can hamper your weight loss

in short, raw fruits, adequate water, diet plan, proper rest, and routine checkup with the physician will go a long way in the weigt loss.
