How To Cure Swollen Left Eye In A Kid?

My 2.5 years son has lot of swelling on his left eye suddenly since 2 days and he is not able to see anything with that eye.EVen he keeps on saying eye is paining.We have shown to padeatrician they said its just Viral.They have give OFLOX eye drop we have dropped it thrice.till now swelling is same and he is having pain as well as fever what can be the reason? what needs to be done for better releif?

Hello
It seems from the history that your son is having pain, swelling in the eye lids with fever.
This can be because of viral infection as told by your doctor. The treatment is by antibiotic eye drops to prevent secondary bacterial infection as advised by your doctor.
Along with this he requires antipyretic drugs like paracetamol and oral antibiotics for better relief from symptoms. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for prescription of the drugs.
