Other causes can be excessive ear wax accumulation, foreign body impaction in ear, perforation in eardrum, disorders associated with Jaw joint, throat and sinus infection etc.. You need to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopic examination of ear or MRI Scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly.. In case of infection you can be advised Oral antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkiller, decongestant nasal drops.. Avoiding excessive water exposure to ears , exposure to loud sounds and putting q tips inside ears to prevent further injury and irritation..
