How To Confirm The Presence Of Hashimotos?

I had a multinodular goitre in 2003, i had left lobe removed.
For the last 2 yrs i have had multiple symptoms, joint aches, hair coming out in handfuls, skin rash, unexplained bruising on legs, deep nail ridges and nails lifting up, extreme fatigue, heavy painful periods.
I have had lots of tests the only things these have shown is low ferritin(7), positive result on ELISA but the western band test was equivicol for LYME and blood calcium in the high normal range. Also i had an eye test last week and the pressure in my eyes is high, i have to go back next week to have the test again and if still high the optician says i may need to be refered to a specialist.
My last thyroid ultrasound 2 yrs ago showed 3 cysts on remaining right lobe but i think there are more now as my throat feels full and i keep coughing and having to clear my throat.
My last TSH was 2.7 this has slowly crept up over the years it was 1.3 when i had the surgery, because my TSH is within the normal range i have not been given a thyroid antibody test. Is it possible to have Hashimotos and have symptoms if my TSH is within the normal range? Should i push for an antibody test?
My Doctor says the symptoms im having are nothing to do with my thyroid he thinks I have CFS.ind anything wrong.
I am getting desperate as i really do feel ill but nobody can find anything wrong.
