How To Confirm Success Of Abortion After Using MTP Kit?
Hi my girlfriend is pregnant.Her last period date is 28 sept 2011. so i decide to give her MTP kit. She had taken mifepristone after 48 hrs she had taken 1 misoprostol at 1:00 am yesterday. after 2 hours she get paining and started bleeding with heavy flow. 2nd misoprostol had given at 12:00 pm. That time bleeding is less than normal. Next 3rd misoprostol had taken by her at 8:45pm. I am worried, Is abortion done or not? because now bleeding very less. Please Help me.....................

Usually after misoprostol bleeding will last for 4 hrs followed by which bleeding decreses. Get a scan repeated after 14 days to see whether the uterine cavity is empty. If there is retained products a D and c need to be done.. Minimal spotting for 1 month after MTP is common. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
