hi! i am a doctor too, having problem conceiving. all hormone assays are normal. esr is raised 45mm/hr. how to confirm or rule out any tuberculosis? i already have a 4 year old daughter.in the interim i was using multiload with no problem. i have removed it since august. i also went for follicular monitoring and have already taken one cycle of letrozol, which did lead to some increase in follicular size (16.5 mm as opposed to 13.5 mm without treatment; and also ovulation) but the endometrial thickness remained poor at 6mm. as already mentioned lh,fsh,E2,thyroid and prolactin are normal. but esr is raised to 45mm (on 2nd day of menstrual cycle).i need to know how to confirm or rule out possibility of tuberculosis. thanks for your help.
