Hello,
MARTINOR contains Norethisterone which belongs to a group of medicines called 'Progestogens'. Progestogens are similar to the natural female hormone. It is not a birth control pill, used to control heavy bleeding. You can go for OC pills which provides contraception action as well as controls heavy bleeding too. Repeated use of Martinor is not recommended.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
