How many months after miscarriage one can get pregnant?

hi, I am 41 years old and 16 december i had a miscarriage and 16 january came my period. I try to get pregnant but this month i has late in period and pregnancy test every day negative. Today in 42 days of my cycle came my period. I want to know how many month after miscarriage i can get pregnant and why this month had late in period? thanks

Normally, after a miscarriage, you need to wait for atleast 3 months before trying again.
You should take folic acid during this period, and evaluate causes of the abortion.
Reasons for the miscarriage could be genetic, uterine anomalies, infections, autoimmune conditions, hormone imbalance, or in your case - your age.
Also, at this age, irregular cycles can be due to hormonal changes, stress, anxiety, thyroid disorders, endometrial lesions etc.
Also, remember that after a miscarriage, it takes one or two cycles for periods to return to normal.
I dont think you should try for your next pregnancy without consulting a Fertility specialist and without detailed evaluation.
