Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

Normally there is hardly any bleeding post surgery...but as per your history of post-op bleeding... only two things are possible... either you have a coagulation problem or there is a bleeding vessel inside which had not been properly ligated during surgery or was completely missed during surgery or the ligature applied over it...

If you dont have a history to prolonged bleeding when you must had sustained injuries during childhood... then first possibility is ruled out...

Now the second one...the good thing about it is that you are able to see it....meaning its at the level of abdominal wall and not inside... so another surgery can be avoided... you need to revisit your surgeon and ask him to explore the incision under local and ligate the bleeding point...

Lastly you can try procoagulants...in consultation with your doctor...coz you are saying that now it is mild...so maybe it can be stopped by medicines...its worth a try...
