How Long Complete Rest Required After Appendectomy?

hello doctor! i had a surgery on 6 th of this month, and they removed the appendix . there is a small tumor at the end of the appendix. they showed the part to my brother and they sent that part for biopsy. Nearly 21 stitches were on my stomach,they removed on 17th of this month...i came to my home on 20th, now taking rest....my problem is i am not having sense on the center of my stromach texture....it is just like in sedation...can i sit folding my legs in side, iam getting itching .....how many days should i take rest...

appendicectomy is a simple procedure and one should be completely mobilised as soon as possible after the surgery. You can do any thing you want. Stitches get removed after a week. keep the wound clean and avoid lifting any heavy weights as they lead to pain. rest assured, you can adopt any posture you like and any daily activity you need. There are no worries in that
