How Is Early 2B Stage Uterine Cancer Treated?

Dear DOC, My mom has been diagonised for uterine cancer and doc says that it might be in early 2B stage. He has advised us to go for chemotherapy initially and then go for surgery to remove the uterus. Can you please guide me on the same. Also we have heard that chemotherapy is very bad as it effects the bones and other parts of the body. My mom is 57 years old. Please guide.

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
She has uterine cancer of stage 2B.
Treatment of choice is hysterectomy followed by chemotherapy. Or you can take chemotherapy first and then go for hysterectomy.
Chemotherapy has many side effects but she have to tolerate that to avoid recurrence.
Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
