HI MYSELF AYUSHMAN FROM ASSAM...MY AGE IS 30+ AND I AM SUFFERING FROM HAIR LOSS DISEASE FROM A DECADE..M CONSULTED A DOCTOR AND HE PRESCRIBED ME KERA XL AND PROHAIR TAB INCLUDING MULTI VITAMINS TABLETS....BEFORE THIS I USED AMEXIDIL 5 FOR ONE YEAR...BUT THE RESULT IS NOT SO EFFECTIVE...MY QUESTION IS WHETHER THESE MEDECINES WORKS?????

Hi,

You may be having androgenetic alopecia. There may be loss of hair on frontal area both side and occipital area. If it is so, it may be AGA. I usually prescribe finesteride 1 mg daily to my patients for few months to few years. Along with it, biotin like tab Biotin 10 mg daily may be taken. Minoxidil 10% may be applied twice a day. Cleanse the scalp with ketoconazole containing shampoo. Be patient. You may get good result after few months. I hope you got my answer.
