How Can Sore Throat Be Treated?

My daughter has an itchy and sore throat and headache, is sneezing and coughing, a little chest congestion. I have given her Claritin D however she continues to feel miserable. No fever or chills. Her voice is getting hoarse. She s had at least 3 20 oz bottles of water so far today. Discharge from nose starts pale yellow and goes clear after a few hours. Can I give her a daytime cough & cold otc with acetaminophen, phenylephrine, gualfenesin and dextromethorphan as well? I believe this is either allergies or a possible sinus infection. Thank you.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
She should be given symptomatic treatment i.e. Paracetamol, levocetirizine, pheylephrine tablets. I don't find any need for clarithromycin.
