If you are suffering from sinus problem since long time, you may have some obstructive lesion inside your nose. I advice to get consulted by Dr. Kirtane at KEM hospital, Mumbai. He is the best for sinus surgery. Before surgery he will advice for nasal endoscopy and CT Scan of Paranasal sinuses, so he can diagnose the obstructive lesion. Have a speedy recovery!

1. Get a plain CT PNS (Para Nasal Sinuses) Scan done at a Scan center with a multi-slice machine. Confirm that you have sinusitis.
2. If you have sinusitis or nasal polyps, try medical therapy first. If not, identify the cause of the nasal obstruction. If you have hypertrophied nasal turbinates, besides endoscopic sinus surgery, there are newer options such as radio-frequency ablation available.
3. Rule out Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS). Get a Sleep Study done.
