What Does This Brain MRI Result Suggest?

received brain mri results today. mri was done because 11 days ago went to ER, told I had had a CVA mild stroke. Results were no masses. However several issues with sinus showed up. my nurse prac referred me to a ENT. Issues with sinus mucous retention cyst in left maxillary sinus, bilateral mastoid sinus disease and mild ethmoid sinus disease. Should I be put on medication now for this infection.

Yes,you may be put on antibiotics belonging to group of cephalosporins like cephalexin/cefepime if there's tenderness over the sinus region or nasal congestion or flu like symptoms..Or else you for complete resolution,further ENT's visit and would require fundoscopic sinus surgery to remove the cyst.An ENT specialist would be aware of these procedure.Hope this helps you.Take care
