How Can PCOS And Polypoidal Endometrial Wall Be Treated?
Two months before I am diagnosed with pcos and polypoidal endometrial wall. all tests are normal.... including kryotyping and weight is 75kg. height is 5,7...already two misscarriages... in two years (of 7 weeks of pregnancy)......plz suggest me....
Polycystic ovarian syndrome presents with reproductive hormonal imbalance and insulin resistance leading to irregular menstrual periods, anovulation and sometimes infertility. Polypoidal endometrium usually indicates thickened endometrium under the influence of estrogen hormone. Sometimes because of prolonged amenorrhea, the endometrium will increase in thickness and leading polypoidal growth.
If your gynecologist suggests you may need to undergo an endometrial biopsy to find out the possible causes of polypoidal growth of the endometrium at the same time dilatation and curettage can be done to scrape the excess tissue. Then, depending on the histopathological examination findings, treatment can be planned and at the same time poly cystic ovarian syndrome can be treated with combined hormonal pills and insulin sensitizers. Once the cycles regularize, you can plan for pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
