Horrible Back Pain After Child Birth Due To Epidural Spine Bc. Should I See Doctor ?

Hello, I'm 21 years old and just had my 2nd child a little over 2 months ago. There was slight complications when I got my epidural bc the doc said he couldn't find my spine bc it was so deep. Now I have horrible back pain that doesn't ease up or go away. It keeps me up at night and makes it very difficult to pick up my first child, who is almost 2. Should I see a doctor? I just got insurance again so I now have the option to see a doc

Good morning mam. Generally back pain is common after pregnancy. ur spine which is found deep during epidural could be because of more subcutaneus tissue. i think u could take analgesics and calcium tablet and do back strengthing exercises.Apply ice or heat over ur back. Avoid lifting child or objects. ur problem will be relieved soon

Hi Salmouch,
Thank you for choosing Healthcaremagic. It is not uncommon to have back pain after spinal/ epidural surgery. Usually it will resolve by itself. You can try some pain killer tablets and local analgesic gels for pain relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. In case of any doubt, I will be available for follow-ups. If you like my answers kindly rate it, and write a review as well. Please do not forget to accept it.
