Heavy Bleeding With Cramps During Periods, Nausea. History Of Having Unprotected Sex. HPT Negative. Possible Miscarriage?

I had unprotected sex 2 days apart, a month ago. I experienced cramps everyday until what i thought was my period, 3 days ago. I had heavy bleeding and cramping, now its almost done. i have been nauseous at night when i go to bed and in the morning when i wake up. i have taken 2 pregnancy test, last week and they were negative. Did i miscarry or could i be pregnant?

Hello
Thanks for your query.
With you two negative pregnancy tests, you are definitely not pregnant.
Regarding miscarriage, it is a possibility.
NOt all miscarriages show up on the pregnancy test strip - a very early miscarriage would just present as an abnormally heavy " period "
Since you are still having nausea, I would advice you to go for a pelvic ultrasound, which would reveal if there is anything still inside the uterine cavity, that is worrisome.
Take care.
