I woke up xmas day with the worst headache I have ever had in my like.I was shakey, weak and felt sick to my stomach .I noticed a few days later that my face is very slightly swollen on the left side, my head hurts a little but not nowhere like it did that day..also about two weeks ago I had floaters like cobwebs in my eyes but they only lasted a day.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello. your age and little more history would help better for the question. however if you are in your middle age and hypertensive with such severe headache would need a CT scan, and vascular study for better evaluation, facial swelling no definite link with headache. however one side with severe headache. I would suggest you to approach specialist for diagnostic evaluation. thank you.
