Having Red Spots Over Arms, Stomach, Legs. Spotted Brown Flat Bug On Bed. What Is This?

My partner and i have been waking up everyday for the last two months or so with mysterious red spots all over our arms, stomach , and legs. I ve searched my bed but there are no signs of bed bugs. But every once in a while we ll spot a small brown Flat bug Crawling on the bed. It s only happened 3 times. Could we have bed bugs although we ve searched the bed and haven t seen anything?

Welcome to the forum.

Bed bugs are small round flat bugs that can be found in the cracks of the bed, furniture, tables, chairs, etc.
Bite causes rash, itching and red spots int he skin.

You have spotted the bugs so change the mattress, clean up the room. All the cracks in the bed and other furniture, cupboard must be checked. Wash all clothes and linen and sun dry them.You can contact the pest control professionals for help.

Do not scratch the red spots, scratching will spread the inflammation, itching and infection. You can take anti-histamine tabs to get better. Application of steroid creams can give you relief. Take care.
