Having Pregnancy Symptoms. Negative Test Results. Follicle Found Near Ovary, No Periods Till Now. Any Ideas?
Hi I had symptoms of pregnancy however urine and blood tests were negative at 6weeks. Had an ultrasound echo scan done in 7th week and doctors said no pregnancy but found one follicle near one of the ovaries. They asked me to wait for two more weeks and suggested my periods would come. However,it has not till now. What do you suggest it is? I had a vitamin d test done after blood test and it showed i have a deficiency.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
As tests are done to rule out pregnancy, your delay in periods could be due to stress and hormonal variation. You can wait for few more days for your periods to stars regularly, if not you can take progesterone medication, which on stopping medication results in bleeding as withdrawal bleeding. Have proper sleep, plenty of fluids, nutritious diet with required calorie and regular outdoor exercises for your well being. Hope I answered your question. Consult your doctor for further examination and management. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
Regards Dr. Vidya
