I was prescribed Coversyl for blood pressure and the pharmacist gave me Perindopril and explained it was the same. I have developed a dry cough over time and went to the doctor to ask him about it because it is annoying and could he give me something for it. he prescribed a suppressant . It doesn t seem to have done anything. Firstly is there much difference between the two blood pressure tablets. I did go to a different pharmacist at one stage and got coversyl. I do remember that the cough sometimes was not as bad. Now it could have been then but i can t remember an this was before i knew that a dry cough was a side effect. Can you be of any help please?
