Having Difficulty Urinating, Not Coming Out Easily, Steady Pain In Testicles

I am having difficulty urinating. Its like I need to go and have the sensation but I get (lack of a better description) stage fright and it gets close then gives up. Sometimes it takes 30-45 sec and last night took almost 15 min just to start. Also today started steady pain in my testicles. There has been thicker discharge but in the week or so this has been going on 2-3 times is all. History: Had vasectomy almost 6 years ago; Drink alcohol and smoke; fairly active; could probably drink more water but beer and Gatorade and occasional soda . I will go to the Doctor if needed but I am a consultant and do not have insurance so is there anything I can do before the Doctor visit?

Welcome to Health Care Magic

This is hesitancy… Prostate is the usual cause.
See an Urologist or an Internist / get yourself examined / at times, basic investigation may be necessary
The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.

Wishing well
