The Diabetes is one of the commonest causes of Erectile Dysfunctions. There could be damage to the blood vessels supplying the penis and nerves may also be damaged (Diabetic Neuropathy). The Uncontrolled blood sugars cause this problem. Hence it is very important to have the blood sugar under control. Please see your treating physician for these kinds of problems. Prescription medications like Viagra, Levitra, and Cialia are frequently prescribed, but vacuum devices, penile implants, and vascular surgery are also options. It may also be helpful for some patients to receive some form of psychotherapy as well. Most importantly doctors advice is needed to get the above medicines as there are contraindicated in few conditions.
