Having Dark Brown Spotting With Metallic Taste In Mouth While Eating. Can I Be Pregnant?

hi, i was supposed to start my period yesterday and have had very light dark brown spotting only when i wipe, I m not filling a pad at all..... i normally am very heavy and bright red, its been going on for two days now and I have been extremely tired, nauseated, and kinda moody...I am on the pill and have not missed a pill. I have also had this strange metallic taste when I eat.....could I be pregant...I have taken two test and they have came out negative....so confused

Thanks for your question.
Symptoms you are having cannot confirm pregnancy. They are quite non-specific & can be seen in a number of conditions. You may exclude a pregnancy with 100% surety by doing a blood pregnancy test.
Use of birth control pills may reduce menstrual blood loss by about 50%, this may well be the reason of your reduced flow.
