Having Chest Pain. Feeling Lump In Throat And Dysphagia. EKG And Blood Test Done. What Is The Problem?

i went to my doctor with complaints of chest pains, a feeling of a lump in my throat and occasional dysphagia for 2 weeks. after an ekg and blood test to rule out other things, he prescribed Aciphex figuring it was acid reflux . it s helped out a lot, but i wonder if this means i necessarily have GERD, or can it be circumstantial or occasional acid reflux.
