Have Severe Cough, Throat Itching, Irritating Cough. Can I Take Nexium?

Sir, my name is Philip, I am in texas. I am having sevior coughing, throat itching, which goes down in thru throat and irritates and cough during night while sleeping and it wakes up every 15minutes. Also have to get up for urination every 2 hrs while sleep. and in short life in sleep is totally disturbed. Please advise some thing. Is Nexium 40mg going to take care of me? (I am 62 yrs old) Thanks in advance. YYYY@YYYY

hi,
thanks for the query.
the problem your facing is about throat infection so there is no use of nexium 40mg.
it is better to take cough syrup during night and use of antibiotic may resolve your itching.
avoid allergens,pollutants and cold water .
go test for blood glucose to rule out your frequency of urination.
if you smoke quite it.
have you been using medications for blood pressure?

if using ace inhibitors ...go to your doctor for consultancy.
