Have Red And Swollen Pimple Under Eyebrow. Hurts While Moving Eyebrows. Solution?
I am graduating from middle school. My promotion is on June 14th. Under my eyebrow, I have this pimple. At least I think it is. It's red and swollen. It started out as a bump under a hair. I plucked the hair out. The next day, it was inflamed. It spread to my upper eyelid. Going against my instincts, I popped it. It hurt even more the next day. The swelling went down a little but it got even redder. It hurts to make certain facial expressions or to move my eyebrows or to wink. I need help. Is there any way I can make it disappear before then or reduce its appearance as much as possible?
hi, the swelling under your eyebrow is the inflammation of hair follicle called folliculitis..it occurs due to plucking, threading and infection of the damaged follicle. since you burst it out,it is now necessary that you start with topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin ointment.and oral antibiotics such as dicloxacillin.. kindly dont ignore and follow the regimen for 5 days..don't touch the area as it can cause the infection to spread.. thank you, wishing you good health
