Have Periods Every Five Years. Sign Of Menopause?

hi,i notice i get my period now every five years now . Is that a sign of menopausal ? Since that time its not that i always do it with my partner i notice theirs a fishy smell coming from the inside.. Can i get rid of that smell? Its embarassing i always douch what else can i do to get rid of the fishy smell . pls give advice

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
If your age is around 50 years you are in the range of menopause.
The fishy smell may be due to ,
Yeast infection (fungus severe if ),
Bacterial infection.
However reason of these type of infection may be any but pathogens would be fungus or candidiasis or bacteria .
In my opinion please consult a gynaecologist as physical examination will find out the cause .
Also get in culture of vaginal swab and they will find out exact nature of pathogens (causative organism).
