I am 38 years old lady having heavy menstruation bleeding. After some tests my doctor advice me to take loette 21 white tablets packet from 5-26th day of menstruation circle for 6 months. I have started to take it from 13/6/2013. But on 28/6/2013 I have my periods. Should I continue this tablets as per prescribed doses?

Loette is a combination of oestrogen and progesterone. The first phase of menstrual cycle is under the control of oestrogen and the second is under progesterone. In heavy bleeding oestrogen provides homeostasis and progesterone stabilises the endometrium. The dosage that you have mentioned above is the maintainence dose. But since you have already got a premature heavy bleeding the dose may have to be increased to bring it under control.Tapering of the drug may be done after control of bleeding.
