Have Heavy Discharge During Intercourse. Had Yeast Infection. What It Can Be?
couples weeks ago i had a yeast infection, after taking my antibiotic i was ok. few days later their was some brown discharge coming out, then my period come as regularly. after a week my period was over. But now im experiencing something i totally doesnt understand, which is some heavy thick discharge with a brownnish color while having intercourse
I would first like to say that if you were diagnosed with a yeast infection, treatment with antibiotics should/would not provide any relief, as the source needs to be treated with antifungal medication.
The brown discharge that appeared before your period, is commonly seen in many women who are expecting their period.
But the presence of a heavy thick discharge with a brownish tinge to it, could be a sign of the yeast infection still being present or from another infection. Please abstain from all sexual contact to start with. It is possible that your partner is carrying the infection, and re-infecting you with every sexual contact shared.
Please revisit your doctor, and request for adequate and appropriate treatment. Also, discuss with your partner, and request him to visit a doctor as well.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
