Have Heavy Bleeding, Suffer Thighs Pain And Feeling Weak. Prescribed Provera, Levothyroxine And Iron Tablets. Suggest?

Hello My name is Bhavna Chunilala, I have been having heaving bleeding, left ovarian pain (unable to sleep left side), feeling weak and both my thighs Pain a lot.. I had this problem last year and after being prescribed provera, levothyroxine and iron tablets and also changed my food intake because I also have a lot of acidity problems where by I am unable to eat some food. and this year again I have the same problem, and I went to doctor again and was prescribed the same medicine and I took provera 2/3 days and bleeding stopped and the very next day it started again, I am also having a little stress right now, and I am confused what is wrong again I am on medication, of levothyroxine and provera but I am scared and don't understand what other reason can it be. Please I would appreciate if I can have someone provide me a right information.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
According to your description there is possibility of some hormonal imbalance.
If you stop talking progesterone pills that will lead to withdrawal bleeding.
So you have to take pills for around 20 to 25 days to regularize the cycles.
And you need one ultrasound, hormonal profile to find out the exact cause of the problem.
If your doctor recommends better to go for premenstrual D&C to find out any endometrial abnormality.
By these steps the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated.
