Have Headache And Neck Pain. Had Hit Head. Should I Be Worried?

I hit the top of my head towards the back right 3 days ago. It hurt right when it happened and then nothing until the next morning. When I woke up I had a severe head ache and then as the day went on my neck started to hurt. Now I am feeling a tingling sensation on the right side of my head and face and still have neck pain . Should I be worried?

Hi Kschmidkas,
Thanks for writiing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you have suffered from soft tissue injury.

Headache, as a result of soft tissue injury of the scalp takes few days to weeks for complete recovery.
Proper rest will speed up the recovery.

If the pain is severe, you can take pain killer like Ibuprofen one tablet twice a day after meals along with an antacid.

If your symptoms are persisting or if you develop some new symptoms, get a scan of your head done along with clinical examinaton by a Neurophysician.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
