Have Diarrhea, Mucus In Stool. What Is Going On?

I am worried about my diarrhea I continue to try to eat well, but it doesn't go away. Now I have mucus in my stool and have no idea what is going on. I am getting older and do not want to worry about long term damage.
NO I have not taken any medications to stop, help or deal with it either; I have never had to but I am will to do so now that it is not getting work.

I read your concern and diarrhea associated with mucous is due to Inflammatory reaction in intestine probably ulcerative colitis .
Anti Inflammatory drugs help to cure ulcerative colitis ,
Along with Anti inflammatory drug , antibiotics and loperamide are treatment option for ulcerative colitis.

I suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist to perform imaging studies and furthur treatment .
