Have Cysts And Coils In Neck And Upper Back. Swollen Earlobes, Foul Smelling Discharge. Cause?
I am in my mid 40s and still suffer from persistent skin problems, particularly around my neck and upper back. I have countless small cysts and boils, this extend to the arm pit area and can be very painful. My earlobes also swell and emit a foul smelling discharge when squeezed. Could you please explain what may be the cause and any possible treatment.
I thought such problems would pass with age, but it is now starting to have a negative impact on my life and mental health. I have also inexplicably put on a relatively large amount of weight over the last few years, again leading to social discomfort and depression. Could these problems be in any way connected? Thank you.
1. you night be suffering from recurrent folliculitis, which is a bacterial infection. It needs to be treated by antibiotics.
2. multiple sebaceous cysts, these need to be treated surgically.
