Have Cut On My Face. Am Pregnant. Can I Use Betadine?
I am 16 weeks pregnant and just got a cut on my face. (my 3 year old nephew scratched me and made me bleed ) I only have Betadine ointment (topical solution I put on with a q-tip) in my house and was wondering if I could use that. When I look online I see pregnancy issues but I m not sure if it s the Betadine I m using.

Local application of Betadene or any antibiotic cream or lotion has no effect on your pregnancy.
Try to avoid taking antibiotic orally for cut.
