Have Bruised Thumb, After Injury, Bandaged, Hurts, Numb, Feel Like Bone Popping
last week i accidentally slammed my thumb in a door it has been very bruised ever since. ive put a bandage on it for when i have to go to school so when im going to different classes it doesn'thannahrobinson26@ get knocked about in the crowds but when i try to move it it really hurts and it fells like my bone is popping out of place and ity has also been going very numb every now and then

It might be fractured. you should do xray and check this. Some immobilisation should be placed because it wont heal properly if it isnt immobilisated. Also you should rest and apply cold compressees if it hurts. There is no other treatment. If there is a fracture it takes 4-6 weeks to heal. Wish you good health.

Get an X ray done and consult an orthopedic surgeon.The thumb is most vital part as you hold, clasp everything using thumb along with other fingers, also holding pen for writing also lnvolves thumb with index finger. So do not rely on home treatment as there might be some dislocation or fracture which can be ruled out only on X ray and also correct positioning of dressing is important.You should take pain relievers, antibiotics which shall be prescribed by your doctor
