Have Breast Pain Along With Discharge From Breast, Post-breastfeeding, Increased Weightlifting. Is This Prolaction/iron Issue?

Post-breastfeeding for 18 months. Increased weightlifting for the last month and notice feelings in breasts similar to let down and now have the ability to express a few drops of white/yellow milk-like substance. Was experiencing a lot of breast pain but that has ceased with a week long break from lifting. Is this a prolactin/iron issue?

Hello,

Discharge from the breast is significant only when it is spontaneous. A small amount of white/yellow milk like secretion can be expressed from any breast.
If significant amount of fluid is discharged from the breast spontaneously then it has to be evaluated since many conditions can cause it, including a prolactinoma.
Hope this was helpful.
