Have Abscess In Back, No Pus, Peeling Skin, Done Root Canal. Is It Infected?

I was told about YEAR ago that might have abcsess back upper left looks like a knot i never try to bother it i havent noticed any puss like i hear everyone else that has this but past couple days my skin is peeling off and is white i had a root canal about 6months dr. gave me a card for another dentist specialist i never went to him.do you think it could be infected if so what would be the thing to do?

Hi,
It seems that you might have abscess in root of infected tooth a year ago.
Now is encapsulated with fibrous tissue and abscess became localized.
If root canal is done in the same tooth, you may require extraction of that tooth.
After that abscess will be drained out and you will be alright.
Consult dentist and take his opinion.
