Have A Tender Thumb. Had Slammed The Thumb Earlier. X Ray Done. What To Do?

My thumb was slammed in a huge toolbox lid last week. No fracture was evident on my xray. The swelling is gone. Top of thumb is still tender to the touch. Tried bending it inward towards my palm but stops way short with no pain. Just won't move any further. Just wanted to know what it could be to prepare myself for my follow up.

hallo dear friend
i hv studied your case
there is internal crush injury to your thumb
there might be collection of hematoma and fibrosis leading to restriction of movement
if there in no fracture you need physiotherapy to improve range of motion

avoid lifting weight?

take rest , take some analgesic , hot or cold fomentation
