What Causes Firm Spots And Discomfort In Scrotum Post Vasovasostomy?

My husband had a vasovasostomy 9 days ago. He has firm spots and discomfort in his scrotum. The bruising is now subsiding but he's concerned about the firmness. Is this possibly a scrotal hematoma and how to do we reduce it? There isn't any redness or it's not warm to the touch. His suture sites are great.

Hi,

Even if it is hematoma, you can't reduce it. You need to meet the surgery person for it. Doing a ultrasound scrotum can help diagnose the cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S. R. Raveendran, Sexologist
