OBGYN 's  Response
Since you are a patient of PCOD, your consultant may have prescribed the medication to overcome insulin resistance which is often seen associated with this condition and spontaneous ovulation often happens once insulin resistance is corrected in PCOD. Also, please bear in mind that you may also need treatment for cysts if they do not regress spontaneously, especially considering your age. You should see if you ovulate and menstruate naturally with this treatment; else, you may need induction of ovulation. Please maintain a healthy weight and regular exercise and take a healthy diet. Hope this helps.
