Hello,
Although PCOS patients do get pregnant but there is always be the element of doubt about the positive outcome.
PCOS is a condition which can be managed only but not completely cured.
The best treatment for attaining regular periods in a PCOD patient is regular vigorous physical exercises and shedding of weight.
It is said that mere reduction of weight by 10% can help you achieve your normal periods.
Since you are physically very active now and doing regular exercises and the fact that you have shed your weight by 15 kg make you ideal and fit to conceive now.
It is very difficult to predict about 2 years down the line and there can not be any surety about your weight and physical activity at that time,it would be ideal for you to take chance for conception now.
Your doctor is absolutely right in advising you for pregnancy now as he has above mentioned reason in his mind.
I hope it helps.
Thanks
