Have PCO, Irregular Periods. History Of Having Unprotected Sex. Pain In Right Side Of Abdomen. How Long Should Be Waited For HPT?
i have pco and a son of 2 an half years. I had unprotected sex on 17 of Aug and since my periods are irregular i am not sure of my menses date. My LMP was Jun 24 and still havent got my periods. I tested negative on home preg card on 29 Aug. My abdomen hurts esp on my right side just like i felt when i was trying to conceive for the first time..Could u please let me know how long should i wait to do another home pregnancy test coz im not even sure if i have ovulated with my pco condition.

Hi Dear,
If you ad sex on 17th of AUG and if we consider that you had ovulated and conceived during that time, than, the test should come positive around 16-18 days after that as in a female periods occur 14 days after ovulation and in case of missed period test becomes positive after 2-3 days.
However, you can get a BHCG test done even now and check for pregnancy

You may repeat urine test after one week of the first test, but I think you need to have blood pregnancy test earlier then that as due to your pain I want to rule out ectopic pregnancy in your case.
You also need to be seen by a doctor to exclude other medical conditions that may cause similar pain like appendicitis.
