Have Mirena Implanted. Lower Back Pain, Abdominal Pain, Pelvic Pain, White Discharge. Help

To start off I currently have Mirena implanted. A couple of weeks ago I had a miscarriage. within the past few days i have experiences severe lower back pain, lower right sharp abdominal, pain in my pelvic region, to the point were it is almost unbearable, jelly bean sized white clot discharge? I took a pregnancy test and it read not pregnant? HELP!

thank you for your query.

All the symptoms you are describing are the component of side effects of Mirena.

The common side effects are-
Irregular vaginal bleeding (e.g., spotting), cramps, headache, nausea, breast pain, acne, rash, hair loss, weight gain
mood changes, loss of interest in sex
mild itching, skin rash
puffiness in your face, hands, ankles, or feet.

these persist for a few days to a week after starting off mirena.if they persist any longer i would advise you to consult a GP to get an X-Ray done to check for proper positioning of the mirena,improper positioning may cause persistent bleeding and pain
