Have HPV, At Highest Risk For Cervical Cancer And Anal Lesions. Get Pain Abdomen And Rectum. Severe Fatigue Part Of All Of This?

I am a nervous wreck. I have hpv and my last pap showed about 16 strains, which were highest risk for cervical cancer and anal lesions. I get horrific pains in my abdomen and rectum. I had a LEEP procedure 16 years ago and never went back for check ups. I am absolutely exhausted during the day!!! I can not sleep well at night and my hips and knees are killing me. I am having a colpo and a biopsy next Wednesday. They are scheduling my hysterectomy at that appointment also. Is the severe fatigue part of all of this?

Hi!
Its true that HPV virus strain 16 and 18 are the types which are risk factors for cervical cancer but they donot always cause cancer. As I can make out you must have had mild dysplasia reported in pap smear which was treated by LEEP in which abnormal cells are destroyed by electric current.get your colposcopy done wait for the pap results to come.be relaxed uptil now nothing is pointing towards cancer.Take care!
