Hi, welcome to healthcare magic

When hair loss occurs in psoriasis it may be because: (1) the scales are removed too forcefully
(2)frequent scratching (3) treatment is too harsh (4)stress
It is recommended that you(1)remove the scale with gentle combing and brushing-picking at the scale may aggravate the skin and cause the psoriasis to flare (2)treat the scalp not the hair- when applying topical treatments to the head , make sure that it reaches the scalp and does not sit on the hair
(3) it may be necessary to rotate treatments (4) if the hair loss does not stop then speak to a dermatologist, there may be another reason other than the psoriasis

Once the scalp psoriasis clears, your hair will likely all grow back.

I hope this helps

Hello Naveen,

Psoriasis is a frustrating disease and unfortunately the more you stress about it , it will flare up.Hair loss in scalp psoriasis is the common symptom of the disease due to scaling of the scalp rather than a disease per se. Instead of just relying on the medication improving your diet and exercise regimen is very important. Also try using all the natural products i.e. shampoo, conditioner or the soaps. Alternative medicine has lot of scope in treating the psoriasis compared to the stand treatment with steroids. As these alternative medicine treats a personal holistically considering your psoriasis as well as hair loss.

Thank you for your query
