Had Toenails Removed. At The Base Of Nail Area Is Turning Purple And Red Color. Do Soak In Warm Water. Suggest?

I had both my toenails removed 3 days ago. My right toe, not on the actual toenail part but at the very base is turning purple/redish color. I thought maybe from the injections but am not sure and am concerned.

Also on that same toe the gauz always sticks to the bed and is SOOOOO painful to remove. I tried soaking my toe and the bandage in warm water and epsom salt to see if it would remove but it never did and I just had to pull it quick like a bandaid and it's worse than the actual procedure. Is there something i can do to help this when I have to soak it every day?

Hi,
It seems that due to raw and sore area there is redness.
While doing dressing soak the bandage with antiseptic lotion for few minutes and remove the bandage.
After proper cleaning do dressing with antibiotic cream.
I think for prophylactic measure antibiotic might have gicen.
Ok and take care.
